On Friday January, 31st, our ILS community celebrated Don Bosco Day by gathering for a mass in the gym and later doing fun activities around the school campus. ILS welcomed St John Neumann from Naples for the celebration.

Since Don Bosco is the founder of the Salesian order and our Salesian sisters run the school we celebrate it every year. Campus Ministry put a lot of effort towards the preparations and activities the students and staff will do on the holiday.

The activities this year consisted of many bouncy houses, two rock climbing walls, bracelet station, games, and many more. Also a mass with a very impressive music component from our ILS musicians.

This sacred day is blessed with a holy mass and activities that represent what Don-Bosco’s oratory is all about. The Salesian’s who were founded by Don Bosco are based on reason, religion, and loving-kindness.

This day is a great example of our community coming together to appreciate the our school principles and also have fun with each other.

On Friday it was clear that everyone had a lot of fun with the activities the campus minestry planned for our enjoyment. Don Bosco day was definitely a good way to finish the school week .
