Boys Soccer: ILS took down Chaminade 6-1 this week. Top performers in the match were Nico Lopez 3 goals, 1 assist and Gianfranco Arguello with 1 goal and 1 assist. Pier Roca also scored a goal along with assists from Evan Soto, Rafa Murta.

Varsity Boys also tied with St. Brendan 1-1 on Wednesday night. Lone goal came from Mario Bardi with the assist coming from Miguel Sosa.

Girls’ Soccer: Lady Royals also defeated Chaminade 2-0. Top Performers in the match were Alessandra Alvarez and Javiera Escobar who each scored 1 goal. Jasmine Gutierrez had an assist while Ashley Fonseca and Ana Salcedo combined for a shutout.

Girls’ JV soccer tied with Ransom 2-2. The goals came from Eugenia Paris and Delfina Pelegrini.

Boys’ Basketball: Varsity basketball defeated Doctors Charter in dominating fashion 67-37. Leading players were Alex Rauseo 19 points, 4 steals, Arman du Lau d’Allemand 10 points 4 rebounds and Sam Garcia Medina with 8 points 8 rebounds

Girls’ Basketball: The Lady Royals basketball team comes back from break rolling winning all three of their games. They first took down Don Soffer 43-10 with Mary Scheuerle scoring 9 points and 7 rebounds. Rachel Restrepo had 11 points.

They also took down Hialeah Gardens 56-25. Mary Scheuerle led the way again with 22 points and 21 rebounds. Rachel had 9 points in the game. Lastly, they took down University school 52-30 with Rachel Restrepo leading the way behind 16 points and Caroline Barrrabes scoring 10 points.

Cheerleading: Both Cheerleading teams attended Mater Academy’s regional showcase in preparation for this weekend’s FHSAA reginal competition. Teams received great feedback and will be hard at work this week as they prepare for this weekend’s competitions.

Boys’ JV, Varsity and Girls’ Varsity hosted Gulliver.

Boys’ Soccer traveled to Belen to close out the regular season.

Friday, January 20, 2023: Girls’ Soccer travels to Westminster Christian for a 3:30PM JV match.

Saturday, January 21, 2023: FHSAA Regional Competition at Coral Glades HS at 2:45PM.
