Its going to be very difficult to top Little Shop Of Horrors Musical Review, as the first ILS Drama Club production of the year, with the general consensus seeming to be that it was absolutely incredible.
“I loved it so much! It made me laugh and cry. Everyone in the cast is so talented,” Andrea De Armas (senior) said enthusiastically.
Director Danna Chalela’s (senior) hard work and dedication is apparent in every single detail in the Musical Review. Her love for her craft and devotion for putting on the best show possible is seen in even the smallest detail in this Musical Review of Little Shop of Horrors.
“This production was entirely student-managed and I can not be more grateful for the beautiful people who have worked with me throughout the production,” wrote Danna in the director’s note in the playbill.
Talent was apparent in every member of the cast. Still, as hard as it is to choose a stand out performer, Celina Sosa shines as Audrey II. She embodied the psychotic plant of her character, making everyone in the audience roar with laughter, to the point where audience members rooted for her world domination.
“Working on ‘Little Shop of Horrors Musical Review’ was really fulfilling in a way putting in the time and effort to watch the show come together made it worth the stress,” said Amy Pichardo (junior-head of lights).
‘Little Shop of Horrors Musical Review’ displayed the talent behind the ILS Drama Club, even going so far to say that it was one of their best productions yet. Congratulations are owed to Danna Chalela and the entire cast and crew! Remember: Don’t feed the plants!
