Melanie Scheel Sikaffy, Feature Editor

It’s safe to say this year’s Oscars were definitely eventful and we owe that to some badly executed jokes that got very mixed reactions. Yet, we can’t ignore the fact that this was a big night for many actresses, actors, directors, and more by marking historic firsts in the 2022 Oscar awards. So without further ado, let’s get into it.

Even though not all movies won, they are all worth a watch and another opportunity to appreciate all its aspects from its music, cinematography, and acting. And that wraps it up for the Oscar Awards 2022…at least when it comes to the actual awards. You may all get back to the Will Smith slapping Chris Rock memes.
