In Central and South America, parents living on less than a dollar a day struggle to feed their children, and again, the Salesian Sisters have been there to set up comedores de los niños (dining areas for children) to feed them.

Further abroad there are children trapped in war zones in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, and, once again, the Salesian Sisters have made a sanctuary for them.

In all of the troubled places of the world, the Salesian Sisters are there.

On Mission Tuesday we at ILS support the Salesian Sisters as they care for the young and the poor in their 362 missions worldwide. The last Tuesday of each month, we will feature one of these missions. We invite you to join us in support of this life-giving work by starting a new family tradition and donating the price of one meal each month. The funds raised this month will go to the work of the Sisters in Puerto Rico 👧🏻🇵🇷🧒🏻
