With Halloween just around the coroner (pun intended), it’s high time that you decide what you’ll dress up as. Halloween is a time where we can be anything, from princesses, heroes, to villains. The possibilities are endless!

“I’ve decided to dress up as Cowgirl Barbie this year. With the movie that came out, I thought it was the perfect time for it,” said senior Andrea Celada.

Barbie might be one of the most popular costumes this year, as Andrea mentioned, with the new Barbie movie out; it’s absolutely perfect. There are so many Barbies to chose from as well: Cowgirl, Mermaid, Surfing, or even Weird Barbie. Guys can even dress up as Ken to match all the Barbies of the world.

“I think I’m dressing up as Luke Skywalker this year, which I know is pretty basic, but I just love the Star Wars films,” said senior Sebastian Pacheco.

The Star Wars franchise has given fans tons of costumes to chose from, and Luke Skywalker is by far the most iconic. Everyone will be able to recognize just by a quick glance who you are. It’s also lots of fun to wield a lightsaber.

“I think I will be a pirate; I think its an easy costume to make from what I already own,” said senior Andrea De Armas.

Pirates have always been a popular costume being so versatile as it can be worn by both men and women.
