As Super Bowl LVI approaches Sunday, February 13, this is your one-stop shop to find out what’s happening on the biggest night in football.

“I really want the Rams win and add a second win under their belt,” said junior Michael Boza.

Looks like the Rams and the Bengals are going to the Super Bowl. After the Bengals beat the Chiefs, 27 to 24, and the Rams beat the Buccaneers 30 to 27, they are the lucky winners heading to play at the Super Bowl. The Rams last appeared in the Super Bowl in 2018 and lost to the Patriots 13 to 3–the lowest scoring Super Bowl of all time.

“I’m happy that the Bengals are playing, and I hope that they get their first Super Bowl win,” explained senior Alejandro Ubillus.

After being in the side-lines for so long, the Bengals have given all they had to make it to the Super Bowl after 33 years. The Bengals have gone to the Super Bowls twice and have lost to the 49ers both times. This could be the year that the ‘underdogs’ of the NFL get their first Super Bowl win.

“It’s crazy how Tom Brady is leaving the NFL. No one, including me, thought that he would retire after he played such a great season,” commented senior John Garcia.

In other news, during the craziness of playoffs and finding out who was going to the Super Bowl, Tom Brady finally made the difficult decision to retire from football after an incredible season. He is the all-time passing touchdown leader of the NFL, and has won seven Super Bowl games in his time with the NFL. Don’t forget to stay tuned to watch the biggest night in football and the amazing Super Bowl halftime show.
