Bad Bunny Faces Criticism from Overpriced Tickets

Does Bad Bunny have any say over his outrageous ticket prices?

Since the 2020 pandemic, the rise of concert ticket prices has been undeniable, with more demand after quarantine along with inflation. From Taylor swift to Bruno Mars, fans around the country have been paying insane amounts for single tickets. Bad Bunny is no exception to this and fans can’t believe the prices. The Puerto Rican rapper and singer is touring for his Most Wanted Tour  May 2024. He is charging around $400 for nosebleeds, $1200-$1500 for floor seats, and $900 for middle row seats on average. Fans are upset about the questionably high prices:

“If none of us buy these Bad Bunny tickets, they’ll be cheaper, cause $300 for nosebleed is wild #MostWantedTour.” wrote an X, formerly known as Twitter, user.

Some concertgoers attacked the artist, expressing that asking over $200 for nosebleeds and $1000 for floor seats is flat out disrespectful.

However expensive, some fans are still ride or die for Bad Bunny and state that despite their lack of understanding about the price, they still purchased the tickets.

It seems as though the outrageous prices for just about any known artist tours have become the new normal. Some people will keep purchasing tickets no matter how expensive. Until fans come together and stop buying tickets all together when they are overpriced like this, there won’t necessarily be a stop to this corporate greed. Beyond corporate greed, doesn’t Bad Bunny as an individual have the right as well as the ability to demand venues charge audiences less?
