The ILS Varsity Baseball team hit their way into the winning column recently with a decisive 10-0 victory vs Doral Upper Charter School.
The victory was led by sophomore Hector Sosa who went 2-3 with a double and 2 Rbis while also pitching 5 scoreless innings and collecting his first win of the year on the mound.
Sophomores Jonny Quintana (3 for 3 with a double and 2 Rbis) and Jeremy Fornos (2-3 with an RBI and a stolen base) were two of the top contributors on offense during the game.
The Royal Lions look to carry the momentum into this week as they have 3 games in 4 days.
