Famous reality star, Khloé Kardashian, faces backlash after going above and beyond to erase her “not so picture perfect” image off of the internet.

On April 5th, an unedited, unapproved photo of Khloé Kardashian posing in front of her multi-million dollar backyard was released on the internet. This image was apparently shared onto Instagram by her assistants but was immediately deleted soon after.

While many Kardashian fans saw this image as Khloé looking “happy and healthy,”others went wild with claims that she is wrong for deleting it and setting out false standards with her other photoshopped images.

This photo wasn’t the poreless, 10-inch waist, face-tuned concoction we’ve come to expect from a typical Kardashian post. It was no surprise that the Kardashians legal team was right on this threatening to sue any user that reposted this image.

Emmaline Rasmussen, a registered dietitian and holistic wellness coach, told Pagesix magazine: “The unrealistic Kardashian beauty standard that made them famous has become so outsized and outside reality that even they can’t live up to it.”

Khloé stated to not liking the unedited photo since it had “bad lighting” and didn’t “capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point” on an Instagram post. While showing her ”natural body” on an Instagram live, she listed some of the hateful comments that have stuck with her over the years. “Khloe is the fat sister, “Khloe is the ugly sister,” “Her dad must not be her real dad because she looks so different,” and “The only way she could have lost that weight must have been from surgery.'”These are just some of the comments she rehashed on.

While many people, including her mother, praised her in the comments of her Instagram post, actress Jameela Jamil was frustrated and urged Khloé to own up to the “lengths she goes to in order to ensure that the public sees her body as perfect.”

The Good Place actress did acknowledge that Khloé was “bullied” into her current “mindset.” Jamil also suggested that Khloé should, “admit to surgeries, thinning photographs and videos.”

Senior Sabrina Fernandez stated that “as a big fan of the Kardashians and Jenners. I’m a little disappointed with Khloé’s reaction to the photo getting leaked because it shows how not ok she is with having a ‘normal’ body.”
